This amazing cigar is the same rare tobacco as the 1950’s Cuban cigar, but with one amazing difference. In 1960, these tobacco leaves were put inside drained oak sherry wine barrels and aged for more than 40 years. The cigars are rolled using the unique Entubado Bunching method and triple ring capping for a perfect smoking experience. Entubado is the bunching technique which rolls filler leaf into itself. Each semi-rolled leaf is then placed together and rolled to form the bunch. This skillful rolling technique creates a more firmly packed cigar, with even air flow between the leaves and a stronger ash. They are then hand bound - a true rarity in ‘hand-made’ cigars. Triple Ring capping adds an additional piece of hand cut leaf which is ‘ringed’ around the end of the cigar for extra protection against unraveling, then capped with a final end cap. This unhurried and meticulous process builds the finest constructed cigars in the world, and a clean, powerful taste unlike any other.
